Does the two medications work the same, also are they barbiturates
The two are not alike and they are not barbiturates. Xanax is a benzodiazepine and lexapro is an antidepressant.
No at all.
No they are not alike although they are both prescribed for anxiety sometimes. Xanax, a benzodiazepine, is a quick acting anti anxiety medication while Lexapro, an antidepressant, must be taken daily for a period of time before it reduces anxiety for some people.
