I have a hysteria disorder but last year I started to totally forget things that happened, including talking to a police officer after a fender bender. They totally help me to really melt from hysteria but if a take any more than for maybe sleep, I forget whole conversations. Why is that? I have also taken ten Xanax and slept for a whole day and night. Did I overdose to the point I may die? I really suffer and go into hysterics during stress and they help usually.
I'm annoyed by the last sentence; you have paid me nothing.
You forget things because Xanax at high doses can cause amnesia and confusion.
It is almost impossible to overdose from Benzo's. You were not even remotely close to death.
'Hysteria' may be better treated by cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) than with a pill.
You NEED to see a psych to free you of this as part of it may be learned behaviour.
Jengo; I so agree with Stephen you have not paid anything this site does not charge for anything we are just people trying to help others anyway what it sounds like is you should get better directions from your doctor at how you are to take the Xanax you did not say which one your taking but no matter what strenght your on you never take 10 tablets at anytime. This would be where your confusion and forgetfulness is coming from this is more like abusing the medication you should be on a regular dose and just so many a day not take one or two every time you feel something is not right. get in to see your doctor or look at your bottle and see how it is to be taken I well bet nowhere on it does it say to take 10 tablets at any given time. chuck1957
