I have a picture of what his legs are doing. I don't know how to upload it so please tell me how because he is almost 15 months and is not walking or talking and has a hard time eating. He scarfs his food down and doesn't know how to chew. I've been working with him this past week but I need some advice to see if my suspicions are correct.
I'm brand new to this site, so I am not sure about uploading a picture, but I can say from reading your question that I'd urge your family member to get the child to his pediatrician right away. The talking is not as much of a concern as the walking. All children's walking and talking with be developmentally different, however, there are usual milestone markers that should not be ignored, especially for walking. He probably needs a developmental assessment, a height/weight growth standard growth check, and perhaps a dental evaluation. It might be difficult to "work with him" when you haven't been given the "tools" that you need to help. Keep in mind there is also probably no easy fix for his delay(s), if any. The leg malformation could be a sign of a vitamin deficiency, which if caught in time could be corrected. I sure hope that you find some answers. Call the pediatrician pronto.
