I lightly punched a volleyball over the net and felt this weird pain start in my ring finger and go through my wrist. It felt a little off but I continued playing until it became increasingly painful. Now I can't move my wrist backwards or move my pinky or ring finger without pain. It is tender right before the ulna bone on my hand. No swelling, numbness, or tingling. Just pain. Any ideas why?
Wrist pain from lightly punching a volleyball?

There is mild swelling below the ulna bone now and still significant pain and difficulty moving it. I'm just not sure if it's worth a trip to the doctors or not.
