I just had the worst attack I have ever experienced. I tool 2TBSP Milk of Magnisia, 150mg Zantac, and 40mg Esomeprazole. I am still sick. Have I taken too much or is there something else I can take.

Let me guess my friend.
Once the GERD attack started I bet the burning in your throat & esophagus was so hot and tingly you probably felt a fire truck couldn't of put the intense burning sensation out?
Also, sometimes the burning can wake you up from a dead sleep, right?
When my GERD attacks are that severe I take a combination of famotidine & Gaviscon. I find that the famotidine helps to eat up the acid where the Gaviscon coats and alleviates the burning sensation throughout your throat and stomach.
As for the milk of magnesia (MOM) that works best when I'm constipated.
For my prescription plan I have noticed that it is cheaper to get the famotidine/Pepcid AC by way of prescription yet the Gaviscon is a OTC medication.
The cheapest place to get the Gaviscon is WALMART.
Especially give the Gaviscon a try during a GERD attack. I think you'll be surprised on how quickly and well it works.
