I tried all sort of sleeping pill, now i am on zopim 10mg which i got to take 2-3tablets then only i can SLEEP.I am aware of this drugs side effect n so on but nothing can help me. I wish i just can fall asleep even 2hrs at night thats great but sad..i don't sleep like 4-5 night without this pills.I feel so crazy n mad n angry of my own eddiction but what choice do i have?probably i am on this kind of drugs(many brand) for 15 solid yrs. I NEED HELP... tq
There are plenty of choices none of which are meds or drugs. Insomnia can be eased and even cured by changing many things during the hours we are awake, from our schedule and eating habits to our environment and what we do with our time. Rather than search for meds, reach out to sources that offer more practical solutions. I am not at liberty to put websites etc. here, but you can seek these resources out very easily on the web. I've been there, this is just my 2-cents. hope it helps.
I can relate to you so much, it would be nice to fall asleep and stay asleep all night, so if your doing all the home remedies like no caffeine or alcohol past 6pm and keeping your room at 60-65 degrees, and no tvs,computers,phones etc in the bedroom, and don't eat to close to bedtime. I also found that not drinking anything a few hours before bed helps stop waking up as much, insomnia is a medical condition, and it can be treated, but lunesta 3mgs is the only thing that helped me. And I have tried many different meds for sleep, but you must talk to your doc because what works for me might not work for you, it's also good to exercise daily for at least 30minutes but do it early in the day, I found it best to do it around 2pm because you hit that midday slump and it helps wake you up also. So talk to your doc and let him know you still have trouble sleeping, he or she can get you on the right path, I was a pharmacist and sleeping meds are very helpful to most people, it's just finding one that works best for you, good luck
