I was having sex yesterday and the comdom broke while he came inside of it . I'm to young to have a baby and the guy doesn't have any contact with me so will the plan b pill work ?!
Plan B is 95% effective if taken within 12 hours of unprotected sex. It becomes gradually less effective, the longer you wait to take it,until at 72 hours later (the latest point at which it is said to be effective) when it is around 75% effective.
If you are over a BMI of around 26 (over weight), then there is a different pill you can ask for, called EllaOne.
The other option (or additional option if you want to be extra safe & use it as well as the emergency pill) is to have an IUD/Coil fitted by a clinic or your doctor. That is a quick procedure that can also be left in place as longer term contraception.
With regards to condoms breaking, you should always nip the end of the condom whilst rolling it down his penis, to make sure that no air gets trapped, because air will cause the condom to burst/split.
He needs to be withdrawing from you as soon as he's ejaculated in the condom, because if he keeps going, it will leak inside of you as he loses his erection after ejaculating.
He also needs to hold the end of the condom as he withdraws from you, to prevent the condom slipping off inside of you.
