I'm never sure when to take my meds and if I should take them with/without food to get the best use out of them? I seem to take a big handful in the morning, then the rest intermitantly and wondered if that is defeating the purpose. Also, I have severe hot flashes and wondered which meds increase this? Thanks in advance for any attention paid to my dilemna!!
Your doctor should of prescribe your meds at certain times a day unless they are for as needed only. I have a dispill that is made of plastic and paper. It is divided into morning, lunch, supper, and bedtime. You can have your doctor write it on the prescription that you would like it. Then your pills are all organised for you. Also go to the same pharmacy for all your meds so the pharmacist can tell you if your meds interact with each other.
The pill organizers, the prescription drug info & you may want to write down "ANY" questions & concerns you can think of to present to your Dr.
Myself, many times I left my Dr's appt, then later realizing I did have a coupleof questions.
No matter the question," When it comes to our health, there is no such thing as a stupid question."
The pill organizers are a must with multiple meds.
Best of health to you!
