Hi guys! My pop just put me on Lyrica to help with my chronic pain. She has me weaning off my fentanyl patches. Just wondering how Lyrica has worked for others and if there were any really bothersome side effects? Thanks much!!
Yes; They have found Lyrica to be very effective for pain control, A good choice as you are being slowly tapered off of fentanyl patches. Side effects are very hard but when you start to take the Lyrica most of the side effects you get go away within a few weeks, And you have to take it for 6 to 8 weeks. Some people get several side effects while others don't even notice. Such as dizziness, shaky, memory problems flu-like symptom, headache. But this is normal and goes away just after a week. Give it a try Chuck1957
