I just ran out of the long acting early but still taking the same drug just in the short acting form.
KALEX2007; Well the problem is depending on when you are due for your prescription on the timed release pills Because to avoid withdrawals you are going to have to take as you know more of the Oxycontin IR 30mg so you're going to have to stretch them out as well as you can. Doctors do not give out these prescriptions sooner than the date they are due. So the best you can do is count how many of the IR'S you have and try to make those last you until your prescriptions are due. You call the doctor early there is a good chance the doctor well cut you off. Sorry but that is the easiest way to explain it the only way to avoid withdrawals is to try and stretch out the pills you do have if that is possible
