I just called the doctors office about my missing part of my lip, because my lip is getting thick- numb, blah, blah. When she took out the stitches she told me to do lip exercises-but not for how long-how often. Just to loosen up my lip. I just called her office--- When I got where I could eat pretty good, I sort of said good-bye to the exercises. It sounds stupid, but my face feels tired-and that makes me feel tired. The exercises are to keep scar tissue from forming inside and creating future problems. I wish that she had told me that. My lip is getting really thick.
She should have told you, many times that is the purpose of exercises. I am so sorry to hear this. I am supposed to begin walking next week for my surgery, I would not have known this but I did receive material from the surgeons office, I can tell you it was not ever mentioned by the doctor, he just signed the papers, performed the surgery and I don't see him again until December 18th, what if I hadn't read it, I wouldn't do any walking or anything until then, by then it would be too late. This is the type healthcare all of us can expect in the future.
I'm so sorry for that around the world ppl seem not to care any more or they are scared to tell the trueth. My sister is having womb cancer it took doctors 2 years to find it. They treated her for menstruation pain. When it was discovered it was late. She is always sick and she was discharged reason being that there is nothing that can be done. She was given morphine. After a year we took her to hospital they refuse to take her one doctor after 5 hours waiting he said he can take a chance to operate her because she was passing stools by virginia. She was operated now at least she uses belly button I realy appreciate what he did to her. You will be okay good luck
