For those who don't know, that's my verabreas slip and my joints are detearating in spine. I've been on my meds for 8 yrs. I just want to find a doc that won't change them. please help. bren
I remember you from the last post. The best thing you can do is make sure you have all your medical records to verify the treatment you've been receiving and the condition you suffer from. Also do an online search for pain docs in the new area. If you could find a large facility, your chances are much better on finding a good doc willing to continue on your course of treatment. I would also see if your current doc will let you have a 60-90 day supply to hold you over until a new doc is found. Since your spine is involved, you may want to set up a consultation with a spine doc right away in the Wilmington area. Some pain docs will only accept new patients through a referral. Please start an online search and try to contact prospective new docs through email before the move.
Best wishes and good luck to you,
