- infections, methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus infection
You didn't actually post a medication, but I had MRSA once. My doctor never tested it, and kept putting me on an oral antibiotic. It helped while I was taking the it, but once I stopped the antibiotic, the infection came back with a vengeance. I went to an infectious disease lab, where they found out it was staff, and was put on a 3 part antibiotic; a pill, a soap, and a swab for my nose.
Staff colonies start in a warm, moist place. Try keep your hands away from your nose, and wash your hands frequently. Hand sanitizer doesn't kill staff, so use soap.
