Im in a clinic and on 34 mg of methadone, i went to the emergency room on a thursday nite due to a miscarriage, they had given me a 5 mg percocet for the stomach pain. I neglected to inform the clinic because wanted to keep what happened to me private, the following wednesday (6 days later) i had gotten a mouth swab and need to know if the percocet would be gone by then?
Just that one percocet, should be out of your system after 6 days. Methadone doesn't keep other substances in your system. How long methadone stays in your system depends on your daily dosage and amount of time you have taken it... or so I've been told! Many is the peolpe who know more than I on this site... good luck, don't worry too much, Sweetpea
No. The methadone will not prolong the oxycodone staying in your system. As a matter of fact, the methadone may very well block it and kick it out of your system faster. Once the methadone has control of your receptor sites, it will keep other opiates from binding to them. So with the oxy having no place to go, it will leave relatively fast. Try not to worry so much. You should test just fine! Keep those privileges and be careful in the future.
