No. They both work in different ways but can be used alone or together to treat similar conditions. They would not be tested for in a standard urine drug screen.

Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention. It treats fluid retention from a variety of causes.
