Femara (letrozole) can potentially interact with some other medications., anti-malatia has not been listed. Some of these medicines that may lead to Femara drug interactions include:
Estrogens or other hormone replacement therapy; Oral contraceptives (birth control pills).
Estrogens may decrease the effectiveness of Femara. Therefore, these two medications should not be combined.
Oral contraceptives may also decrease the effectiveness of Femara and should not be taken with it. Talk with your healthcare provider about alternative birth control methods.
You should talk with the doc/pharmacist about specific Femara drug interactions that may apply to you.
