Migraines caused by stress, lack of sleep. Currently taking Topamax for migraines but new dr. wants me to take Celexa for depression instead w/ Ambien to help w/ sleep.
Any type med isnt going to cure your on going stress your jsut going tohave to find way to deal with it depressents are just as bad as benzos and just as addicting along with withdrawl side effects.I heard ambien doesnt work thats just what i heard everyones different ... I would try going to message theropist 1st relieve stress along with hot bath . Pills are only temp fix ...
Hmmm... He/She probally wants to take you off the Topamax because that medication is not to be used with Ambien, or any other kind of sleeping medication. But what I dont understand is, why would He/She mix Celexa and Ambien togther? Usually a docter wouldnt prescribe those 2 medications togther. BUT NOW TO YOUR QUESTION, haha. Yeah, it most-likely will help, because Celexa is a anti-depressent, and almost all anti-depressents i'v incounterd, does help with migraines in one way or another. But I am not a docter. Not even close. Im just speaking in past memeries so i could be way off. But i think im pretty acuret with this one. Hope everything works out with you and your medication! -Rico-
