i had 6 teeth cut out this mornin and i take boxin, will the boxins stop the dros from killing my pain
The suboxone will block the opiate for about 3 to 5 days depending on how high a dose of subs you are taking because it takes 3 to 5 days for it to recede from the brain receptor sits. You didn't list how much subs you were on, but this is a rough guess. Subs does have bupenorphine in it and it is a pain medicine in itself, so, you may not be in as much pain as you think you will be in. You can also try Advil with you subxone therapy or wait a day or 2 to start your opiates, the high will be blocked and you shouldn't take more or extra hydro to attempt to get it to work, but you can stop the suboxone with 1 hydro every 6 hours, and sort of wait for the hydros to take over in the next few days. Having teeth cut out is quite different than major surgery, so you subs may stop the pain on its own with some Advil added to the mix. As Laurie pointed out, if you pop positive for opiate on your subs drs drug test, he/she will Not be pleased.
You also will have to go back into withdrawal to restart subs. Think about it, as you don't want to have to withdraw or get dropped by your subs dr.
