My wife has been prescribed both xanax and clonazepam 1 mg. She prefers to take the clonazepam in the mornings and the xanax at night for sleep. Is this safe?
I would take Xanax AM being short acting drug, less potent but more powerful in relieving anxiety and panic attacks and clonazepam, a long acting drug with hypnotic properties (causing you to sleep) at night. Clonazepam AM will jeopardize your driving and alertness. Xanax too but much to a lesser extent. That's my experience and knowledge, again, please follow what your doctor recommended.
