Not sure about all tests but per the FNP her thyroid levels are normal, blood platelets, cholesterol, etcetera are normal as well. However, she suffers with headaches, depression, temper is up and down, cry at the drop of a hat, insomnia, then sleep 12 hours, no energy. Overall she has changed with the operation which happened in April 2016. Also she only told the FNP about the sleeping issue and Ambien was prescribed. At that point things went down hill! Not the same person at all. How do I intervene because she needs help.
You can take her to a therapist. Who will decide whether she needs to see a psychiatrist. Or go right to a psychiatrist to get a diagnosis. Many people who might be bipolar don't like to take the meds. Not saying this is your wife's case. Has she always been this way or just after she started the ambien... wish you the best and yes she needs to see someone. My opinion.
