... still has not had her period. Is this normal? What should she do if she never has it and she needs to put one back in?
This is normal. She may not get one or it will be very light. She should put it back in on the day that is indicated even if she is still bleeding or has not bled. Once the cycle is started, stick to it no matter what bleeding is occurring or not occuring. This is not dangerous, it is normal. The hormones work in one way by decreasing the uterine lining. This decrease can mean little or even no period. Here is the nuvaring website, it is full of info and even has an app for remember the days to remove and insert the ring. www.nuvaring.com/consumer/index_isi.asp?PID=0001157830000000?SRC=3&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=nuvaring&utm_campaign=Branded
