I too am very concerned and I don't even know him. That poor child sounds like he is getting the raw end of the deal no offense intended though. I would start by calling the Medical Board in your state and talking to them and then find out if your state has a grandparents rights law, you can also contact your legal assistance bureau for help as wel for this child's sake don't give up. I'm not quite sure why his doctor would have given him a benzo either; it's usually prescribed to adults and geriatric patients for various psychotic disorders. However, it is sometimes given to children with autism for irritability. Hope this helps and I hope you are able to get some answers because it sounds like they're just keeping him sedated/"zombie-fied". Good luck.
