I am being treated for depression.
Sometimes that's what it takes. I was skeptical when i was first put on Welbutrin and Effexor at the same time (along with other meds)... but it has turned out to help me so much and gotten me back on track with my mood and everything. I know that if you do the "Interactions Checker" it says it should be avoided but your doctor knows about the meds and is doing what they think is best for you. Sometimes there are certain advantages of each med that they just might be the right combo to help you out. It just needs to be monitored closely so that if there are any problems, they can be dealt with asap.
So, you're not alone being on two anti-depressants. If you have more questions i'm happy to share. Let me know! :)
