The makers of Ortho-tri-cyclen lo, the name brand, have filed a law suit against the makers of Tri-lo-sprintec. (I'm not sure what the law suit is exactly but I've been told that it's similar to the Plavix lawsuit that did away with their generic competition.) As is, the generic won't be available again until December 31, 2015.
