I just got a refill on tramadol and it's upsetting my stomach plus giving me a headache. I can take one from my old script and i'm just fine. It's just this new batch. Both are from the same pharmaceutical company too. Anyone having this problem??
Why is refill script of Tramadol upsetting my stomach & headache?
Added 11 Jul 2010:
The Tramadol I'm taking is 50mg white oblong shaped. I take 2 tabs 3 times a day. I have not changed any of my eating habits except having to eat lots of crackers to help with the upset stomach. I don't want to stop taking the Tramadol since I have noting else to take for my chronic pain.
Not sure what to do?
Hi, i had a similar problem, i generally take Tramadol capsules, green/yellow shell, but was prescribed Tramacip capsules, green shell, and definitely noticed a difference? The ingredients should be the same but if you are especially sensitive to foods, etc, the coating or shell of meds can affect you. Just make sure you ask not to have those again
i am a 15-20yr tramadol user. Started when it first came out but not for pain, anyways... I would normally encounter this when the manufactures of the pills for my pharmacy changed... one month i'd have footballs the next circles, then capsules and they kept telling me that they are all the same.. So then why did they all make me feel different??? i would feel like for ex: the footballs would cause me the aspirin head feeling and i didn't do anything different than the last bottle but when i started keeping track of this i noticed that even when they were the same shape size and color etc I could know when the pharmacy would get the "new batch" just by the way my meds would effect me. Each batch is going to be a sligh variance in the chemical compound as the next batch will. No 2 PEOPLE do the exact task the same way.
and so each different "person, company, machine" making these pills for all the many many companies that make it differs just a hair from the last "batch" "different cooks, same recepie, different taste, different effects!) or at least thats what i figured??? \
Hope this was at least helpful... Sybil
