I have interstitial cystitis and use OTC more often than the average person because it can be helpful for pain. Why is this not good and at what point is does it become too often?
I hope this helps
Phenazopyridine relieves urinary tract pain, burning, irritation, and
discomfort, as well as urgent and frequent urination caused by urinary tract
infections, surgery, injury, or examination procedures. However, phenazopyridin
e is not an antibiotic; it does not cure infections.
It helps with pain, but IS NOT A CURE. What need to be found is the cause.
