Why is epinephrine used for surgery?

It's used to keep blood pressure up along with other things in surgery. A odd question,can I ask why you're enquiring about this. Just interested to know why... Dave

I had surgery for a trigger finger & lidocaine/epinephrine were used to numb the area free discount card
