I am recently diagnosed with type 1 and over the last few weeks I have stopped getting any symptoms when i have a hypo. I have been lucky so far and picked up the lows with my regular routine testing but I am very worried that this may happen during the night when I am sleeping. I live alone so there is nobody I can ask for help.
Check your sugars frequently to see if a pattern exists. Eat a good meal before bed and see if that helps. Make an appointment with your doctor and see if there is something they can do. Also, you know those tubes of cake frosting? Keep those handy at ALL times. In your purse and beside the bed. They have helped me I don't know how many times!!
