I have been on adderall 30mg for 18months. Last month I noticed a signifigant difference in my ability to concentrate. I was wanting to go to sleep by noon and by 5:00 I felt horrible. This month I did not take the medication for a few days and can say I did not notice any difference from when I do take it. People I work with have asked what is wrong with me. I am disorganized, not focused and tired. Has something changed with the generic adderall tablets?
Purely speculation, do you kmow if you have a substitute generic? Barr work great for me and are shaped like a football. Teva brand (yet generic) are exact shape and color, even have that sweet taste. If you read your insert, and even at the bottom of the bottle, it will say the pharmaceutical company name. I take 80 mgs (40 in am and 40 about 3 pm) and was noticing the same thing and assume it was because I went to the pharmacy that was least expensive. This month I filled my script and got a round orange tablet with bitter taste (20 mg tabs also) and panicked. Well, they were another generic, by sandoz pharmaceuticals and i have never had my adderall work so well. I'm fact after total onsomnia and no sleep for two days (not good for a narcoleptic) I took one day off, slept that afternoon and took one tab after my nap because I couldn't wake up, just like all my mornings, and I felt good, and even after a five hour nap to cover the two nights of sleep I lost, slept my mine hours that night. I have been doing well on two in morning and the one in afternoon. I read that Barr wasn't able to keep up with demand so they delayed all shipments until they increased production. That was directly from my pharmacist, and that's why I went to another pharmacy.
Just something for you to look into and pay attention to.
