Have had this problem for years
Hi tootiemae (love your name!!)
I take magnesium and a womens vitamin. Yet there is a product called Fibrocare that is supposed to be great for we fibro sufferers. Also, if you have problems with insomnia try Melatonin, tis a natural supplement that can be purchased at any chemist/pharmacy/supermarket. It really does help with sleep problems caused by fibromyalgia!
Also, welcome to this site if you are new, you will meet some very caring and compassionate people here.
Best wishes to you,
Hi tootiemae, I've had fibro over 30 years! I had a wonderful fun career, I was single and this diagnoses was ruining my life. I read everything I could find, tried everything from acupuncture, regular massages, Native American herbs, and Eastern herbs and everything in-between! What I found is what works for one person may not help another. But the things I found common to everyone is Vitamin D, a good multivitamin, and I always take antioxidants because fibromyalgia is an autoimmune deficiency disorder. I had to learn to eat healthy because I stayed single for many years and it was much easier to run through a drivethrough or takeout! if you can, do some research on foods! I stopped drinking sodas, caffiene (except 1 cup of coffee to get my eyes open). Best of luck! Hope this helped you some! If you have other questions message me!
