When you take terbinafine are you still contagious? Also I know we have to be on it for 6 to 8?

Ringworm of the scalp (tinea capitis) is contagious. Once the infection has completely gone you will stop being contagious - treatment usually needs to be taken for 4 to 8 weeks.
