I can handle all the other withdrawal symptoms but I fail and begin using again because I cant handle the depression and fatigue. Would it help if I were to start taking an antidepressant? If so what? I have a script of Celexa that I was prescribed about 4 months ago before I began seeing my suboxone Doc.
Yeah, you can take an antidepressant on or off the suboxone or opiates. You might also consider following the Thomas recipe. Google the Thomas recipe opiate withdrawal and read the article or journal that goes with it. It you decide to follow the recipe, you might not want to take the antidepressant as the recipe has some herbal supplements and you need to clear that with a PHARMACIST before you take anti d's and herbals. Pharmacists know the meds much better than doctors. If you don't want to follow the recipe, the anti d will help and of course some counseling and a friend or loved one for support .
