When is most effective time to take zantac?

It is pretty effective if taken before you eat, anywhere from 30-min to an hour, again like all other medications, it effects people differently and their systems, I guess the most reasonable assumption would be when it is most compfortable for you... but even 15 min should be sufficient. Call a pharmacist and re-vfy this info. I am not completely sure of how quick this particular medication dissolves in the system, but my father was on it for a while, and he would take it about 15 before he ate his meal... hope this was helpful...
