for instance like cleaning my glass windows, wiping about I feel the uncomfort. I have to stop and shake my hands for relief or just rest a bit.
You might be simply over doing it. But it may be coming from a pinched nerve between your shoulder blades. If this continues, please make an appointment and see your doctor. A way you can test to see where it's coming from is have someone, with their hands on your shoulders, using their thumbs to slowly massage between the shoulder blades close to both sides of your spine, in a circular motion up and down your spine. If you feel a tingling or shooting type pain, you may have a pinched nerve. Be sure and start this massage/test near the C 5 (where your neck meets your shoulders) and move down from there. Do not massage ON the spine, but as close to it as possible. I have a feeling when the person doing this reaches right between your shoulder blades, you may just say, "OOOH, THAT"S the spot!! Let me know how it goes. There are many at home techniques that could help this. IF that's what it is.
Good luck to you and hope you get some pain relief.
Christine as usual has some great ideas but if nothing is showing up on xray or MRI, may I make a little unorthodox suggestion for this site. I have the exact same problem in my left arm. Turns out when no one else could offer me hope, I became so desparate (sp?) because not even my maxium dose of methadone was helping, I called a chiropractor after talking to my brother about it. He has the same problem, didn't know it at the time. Any way They got me a same day appointment and after several months of therapy I no longer have the crippling pain that I was in. I couldn't even type with my left hand! I now go once a month just to keep things in alignment. More often if I notice the pain coming back. Sure hopes this helps I now use my left just like before.
