Well yes you still feel the effects. In my case to a lesser extent. And take a much lower dose of medication. And yes I know that a lower dose delivered directly equals a much higher dose taken orally. One little fact the Dr left out is when treated for pain with a pump. If you take a different drug for breakthrough pain you can have a rebound effect. Also you may have your testosterone levels checked as morphine can lower them to a dangerous level. Just take a cream patch or shot and they can be brought up to normal levels. Keep your Id card with you no MRI no scanner or wand. Never had any trouble just one jerk at the county courthouse. Stick to your guns and remain calm never raise your voice just say no call your supervisor or the pump maker. This is your life you do not have to be put at risk because some overpaid doorman is on a power trip.

What are the different forms of morphine other than the pump and tablets? Does it come in capsules,?
