... depression & anxiety?
Depending on the reason as to why you need a replacement, if you're looking for something similar to Lexapro, there's a allot of options out there, but I found Celexa to be a good SSRI. If you're looking for something similar, but different at the same time, then I would recommend an SNRI such as Pristiq. Xanax is a very short acting benzo, and is probably the best medication for that sort of thing. If you're looking for a short acting benzo, then I would ask your doctor for a different class of medication altogether. If you're looking for more of a maintenance therapy benzo, one that will continuously last and is taken daily, then I would most definitely recommend Klonopin. I've had great results from the combo of Pristiq and Klonopin personally, and have gone through a very very lengthy trial and error method with my psychiatrist. Hope that this helps!
