Iam having unbearable sharp pain in my ear from my answer tooth
Take a small dose of ibuprofen and a small dose of tylenol. One works better for pain and inflammation ( ibuprofen) and the other works better for fever. Be careful and like I mentioned, take a small dose. You can also try swishing warm salty water in your mouth and spitting it out since you can't really soak a tooth, it may help some. If you can get a hold of some antibiotics or have some left over that you could take, that would help until you can get a hold of your dentist, hopefully tomorrow. Once you get the fever broken( if there is any present) just take the ibuprofen for the pain.
You have to be careful when it comes to an infected tooth. Is there any swelling on your cheek or forehead? I know its very painful and what pattishan61 said for the pain is correct. But do not let this infection build! Masking the pain will not fix the problem. If your in very bad pain you might need to get some fluid drained from the infection site and get started on anti-biotics. See a dentist. Don't push it off. Good Luck Purplerose7743. I hope you feel better.
