Doc believes it to be osteoarthritis. Have taken colchicine and voltaren gel for approx. 10-days. To date, no side affects noticed. The pain is as bad as it was when I saw doc on mar. 2nd. She took 7 vials of blood and 14 x-rays of hands & lft. Shoulder. All blood work was reported good (no sign of r. A. ) also suffer w/diabetes-2 and take 3 other meds. I stopped over the counter advil, aleve, etc. Thought they may interfere w/colchicine & voltaren results. Suggestions or comments welcome. Thank you for any info. You can offer. Daizey

I am doing my best to be loyal to 2-diets; a diabetic diet and an IC (Interstitial Cystitis) diet. Also, I do CURVES 3-4 times per week -- a pretty vigorous workout I might add. tHANK YOU, DAIZEY
Google diets for people with osteoarthritis and see what you get. I have heard a lot about diet and arthritis and Fibromyalagia. Exercise is also extremely important with all arthritis's. Anti-inflammatory drugs which the doctor has you on is the standard treatment... Good Luck... Dave
