I went through a period of losing 4 days. I can't remember anything that was said or did. People around me said that I was doing things that was way out of character (walking around with only a shirt on but nothing else), could carry on conversations (bringing up things that happened years ago) but was really mean and hateful. I would call it being psychotic but they call it being in denial of what I was doing or saying. I honestly can't remember anything. Since I have been med compliant they think that this is just an excuse for me to do things that I want even though I have not had an experince like this in years (12).
omg that happ to me too. i feel like ive been on ambien for 4 days since i cant remember anything and my mom thinks im stoned because i stay up til 5 and my eyes are all bloodshot. i am "sensitive" and my house is haunted so late at night for two days i decided to record around the house in the dark (which i never ever do) and when i watched the videos the next day there were things in the videos that i didnt see when i recorded it and some of the things i am doing or saying in these vids i dont even remember. its not me. its like i was possessed or in a trance..im always paranoid and im super dizzy.
I must ask you several questions? What meds do you take? What type doctor prescribes them, GP or psychiatrist? Have you been evaluated for a psychiatric condition? You said that you use to have these episodes 12 years ago? What was the condition back then?
It sounds like you are having lapses in time and I would get evaluated by a psychiatrist. This can be dangerous and scary. I recommend some talk therapy with a qualified doctor so to figure this out. Don't be scared, be proactive before it happens again.
