This was in some medications for my resident from an assisted living place. He can't remember if the are for constipation or for diarrhea. Can you help?
Generic Name: loperamide
Pill imprint L-2 has been identified as Anti-diarrheal loperamide 2 mg.
Anti-Diarrheal is used in the treatment of diarrhea; diarrhea, acute; diarrhea, chronic; traveler's diarrhea and belongs to the drug class antidiarrheals. Risk cannot be ruled out during pregnancy.
Anti-Diarrheal loperamide 2 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
