Sucralfate is used in the treatment of stomach ulcer; gerd; stomatitis; duodenal ulcer; hyperphosphatemia of renal failure (and more), and belongs to the drug class miscellaneous GI agents. There is no proven risk in humans during pregnancy.
Sucralfate 1 g is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
