The capsule is blue and white. On the white half is the imprint "ZA-46" & on the blue half is the imprint "10mg". The prescription was filled at Wal-Mart and the label on the bottle reads "Ramipril 10mg CAP ZYD". There is no NDC code on the label. My question is: Is this really ramipril?
Yes it is a Ramipril 10mg Capsule made by Zydus Pharmaceuticals.
This is the description supplied to the FDA
Ramipril Capsules, 10 mg are white to off-white granular powder filled in size ‘4’ hard gelatin capsules with white opaque cap printed with "ZA-46" in black ink and blue opaque body printed with "10 mg" in black ink.
