I have received a round redish pill. LU on one side and V13 on the other. The MFG is LUPIN, and it was sent to replace IMIRAMINE HCL TABS 50mg. I have never received this generic before and have been taking green round ones for a long time... I went to Walgreens and they had no information on this drug... I called MEDCO, which is the ones that sent them to me and they said it was a generic of my Imipraime that I was taking. I check on line and also can not find this drug anywhere... Please advise if this drug is ok...
Yes Lupin Pharmaceuticals are now making Imipramine HCL tablets.
Their tablet is described as such
Imipramine Hydrochloride Tablets USP, containing 50 mg imipramine hydrochloride, are round, biconvex, reddish brown film-coated tablets debossed with “LU” on one side and “V13” on the other side.
