I have taken Dyazide for a while now and it has always been a small white capsule with blue lines on it. I just got a refill and it was an oval type pill, light green with APO on it - Did I get the correct medication?
It sounds like you got the generic form of Dyazide which is Triamterene/Hydrochlorothiazide. You need to talk with the pharmacist, because you acutally got the generic for Maxzide. They are both the same medication, Dyazide is the capsule form and Maxzide is the tablet form. Did you have a new prescription or was this a true refill of a previous one? They usually don't switch unless directed by the doctor.
