Our child had the nasal vaccination on November 24th. We were told that we should not get the booster vaccination for our child in less than 28 days after the initial vaccination. How far beyond the initial 28 days does the lack of having a booster vaccination present a risk for infection. We had planned to get the booster vaccination at about 41(January 4th) days after the initial vaccination. Is this ok? Is there any benefit to getting this vaccination on the 36th day(December 30th). The nurse administering the initial vaccination said there was no risk.
