What is the safest antiepileptic drug during pregnancy?

After a lot of reading done on the subject it is concluded that to date, no antiepileptic drug has proven safe in pregnancy in terms of teratogenesis. Treatment must be individualized for all patients.

It would be best to talk to you gynecologist/specialist to treat epilepsy during pregnancy, take care.
