my wife crashed a car and killed some one and opiates were in her system. what mg/ml in her blood is intoxicated??? please help
Hi Cory - First my heart goes out to you, your wife and the family of the person that was killed. I am unsure of the level of opiates that constitutes intoxication but wanted to respond since this hit so close to home. My sister (best friend) was involved in an accident that killed a woman and she had drugs in her system at the time. Xanax was prescribed to her but she also had an illegal drug in her system so the situation is not quite the same. Were the opiates in your wifes system prescribed to her? This is important. As you know the amount in her system will make a big difference also. Is your wife okay or did she also get injured? Was she at fault and if so has she been charged with anything? If you would give me more details I would be glad to share my experience with you. This is such a horrible thing to happen and what people don't realize is that it has terrible reprecussions on both families. My sister did not intend to hurt anyone but nonetheless a woman did die. I will friend you and if you friend me back you can then send me a private message if you would be more comfortable with that. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
