I was prescribed ciprofloxacin in Mexico for a severe stomach problem and now my insurance company needs to identify the Mexican code for this drug. Does anybody know the Mexican identifying code for this drug?
I plugged in ciprofloxacin and typed in Mexico this is what I came up with.
J01MA02 - Ciprofloxacin Level 5
This is for infection
J - Antiinfectives for Systemic Use
J01 - Antibacterials for Systemic Use
J01M - Quinolone Antibacterials
J01MA - Fluoroquinolones
J01MA02 - Ciprofloxacin
ATC codes: J01MA02;
ICD-10 code A02
I bet your insurance did not expect this... hahaha
