Welcome to the site. I'm sorry no one has responded to your question. Could you please give us more info on what meds you've already tried? Also, what type of doctor are you seeing? It would help if we had more details. I'm not a medical professional but I do know about pain. I will be glad to help and support you any way I can. There are many caring people here. Keep posting and I'm sure you will get more responses. Hope to hear from you.
Welcome to the site! As I gimped my way to my computer, (we have an early morning relationship with a couple of cups of coffee) & was reading your question, I thought "well, here's another to add to my list of friends"! There are so many of us on here that have your problem. You will most definaltey find lots of help & support, plus your own experiences can help others too,, so feel free to jump in anytime. Everyone reacts differently to different meds so to answer your question, it would be good to know what you have been on that didn't work, what did work etc... Sometimes it takes a combo of meds. I am currently on oxycodone, that's without tylenol, & generic flexeril. After 44 years of having this condition , & it only getting worse with time my meds have changed so many times I feel like a medical dictionary or at least a guiena (sp) pig! They would like me to try a spinal cord stimulator & its still in the back of my mind, but for now, am trying to get off of Lyrica, which did help with pain, but had horrid side effects. So as you can see, it is different for each individual. Feel free to jump on it the waters at anytime. If you have had this condition for 10 years you have had enough experience to help others too. Again, welcome to the site & I wish you all the best. Might also mention that eveyones pain tolerance is different too, so what may seem excessive to you may be related to combo conditions as with myself included in that category...
