I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, and I have had constant pain since. My regular Dr says its from adhesions, and I no longer live in the state where I had my hyst, I have a background of extensive ovarian cysts, and endometriosis. This includes about 8 abdominal surgeries. Is there a possibility that the surgeon won't do this adhesion removal? Please help.
I had to finally have a hysterectomy as well and luckily my pain is pretty much gone. My problem before my hysterectomy was my scar tissue didn't pigment, so they couldn't see it to get rid of it all. Anyway, all of my laser surgeries where outpatient, so I wouldn't see why surgeon would deny the procedure. I am not a doctor and dont know how well you heal. I would think surgery would be a better option than pain medicaton for the rest of your life!
Hope this helps, endometriosis is a hugely ignored disease and it can ruin your life. If one doctor says no, I would get another opinion. Good Luck, and keep us posted... Sweetpea
